Korea, Chinese Taipei and Japan, the top three finishers of the 2018 U-18 Asian championship, will compete at the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2021.

Korea, Chinese Taipei and Japan have been granted berths into the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2021 following the Baseball Federation of Asia's cancellation today of the XIII BFA U-18 Asia Baseball Championship, a qualifier for the U-18 youth world championship.

BFA stated: "As the COVID-19 pandemic continues...BFA had no choice but to take this hard and painful decision."
